Plenty of us hate night driving—there’s no feeling quite like getting someone else’s high beams shined in your eyes. But beyond the pure annoyance, few of us realize how dangerous it can be. Fatalities on the road occur at a rate three times greater at night than during the day, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While only a quarter of all driving is done at night, more than half of all driving deaths occur then.

Your depth perception, ability to distinguish color, and peripheral vision are all worse in low-light conditions. You tend to be more tired at night. MEET THE TEAM

After 7 years in sales and marketing in Nashville's music entertainment business, Chad Baus moved back to the area and joined the family business in March of 2001. He has degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Anderson University. Chad has over 21 years experience in the automotive industry and is a Co-Owner and the President of Sales for CAR 1.

Aaron co-founded CAR 1 along with Larry in 1999.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Anderson University.

He has over 30 years experience in the automotive industry.

He is a Co-Owner and the President of Purchasing for CAR 1.

Jamie started putting his over 26 years experience in Auto Reconditioning to work for CAR 1 in 2009. His background also includes 2.5 years as a Certified Chrysler Mechanic and 4.5 years as a Certified GM Mechanic, so when we decided to open our Service Department to the public in 2013, he was a natural fit to manage/work in both the Detailing and Service Departmen [...]
